The following are directions on how to reach Corazón Maya from either the bus terminal or from one of the boat docks. There are two sets of docks in San Pedro, those with boats that arrive from Panajachel and those with boats from Santiago. To reach Corazón Maya from the bus station: Walk towards the lake and the docks for the boats going to Santiago. At the Ferreteria Batz turn right. Follow this road for 5 minutes until you reach Corazón Maya Spanish School. To reach Corazón Maya from the Panajachel docks: Walk straight up the hill. When you reach the top, take street that goes down hill towards the lake and the docks for the boats going to Santiago. At the Ferreteria Batz turn right. Follow this road for 5 minutes until you reach Corazón Maya Spanish School. To reach Corazón Maya from the Santiago docks: Walk up the street and take the first left at the corner of the Ferreteria Batz. Follow this road for 5 minutes until you reach Corazón Maya Spanish School.


To reach the town of San Pedro la Laguna from Guatemala City, you may either take a direct bus to San Pedro, or take a bus to Panajachel then a boat (lancha) from Panajachel to San Pedro. There are also tourist minivans from Guatemala City to Panajachel, which are more expensive but faster and more convenient. Please consult your guidebook or send us an email if you need help.
